About me
I am a recent graduate from Berklee College of Music in Boston, having studied contemporary guitar performance and the business of live music. I grew up and currently reside in Southern California and am a third generation guitar player having put in countless hours to many musical instruments.

After fully committing to becoming a professional guitar player at 16, I worked hard to make my way to Berklee in Boston, where I discovered my love for gigging in the local music scene and studio recording with some incredibly talented musicians.

I am now eager to put my skills to use- I am seeking gigs and studio session work in the Ventura County/Los Angeles area and I work in most genres, mainly specializing in funk, r&b pop/rock, and blues styles.

"Whether she’s playing electric, acoustic, amazing slide, or fretless guitar, every note is incredibly nuanced in terms of how she articulates with the bends, slides, scoops, pick attack, and dynamics. In short, she has the ability to make the notes sound great no matter what the style is or what guitar she is playing. Kristen plays the guitar with drummer level rhythmic acuity and this, coupled with her amazing tone, make her a joy to play with. She is so accurate and clean with her picking and strumming technique that she has developed her own funk oriented chord soloing method."
"Kristen’s guitar playing is energtic and focused, with great emphasis on groove and time. Her melodic solos keep the listener’s interest peaked from start to finish!”
